BEWARE of any EPPICard E-Mails!!
If you receive any e-mails from a company called EPPICard. Please do not reply to it! It is a phishing scam and here is how it works.
1. The e-mail asks you to confirm/update/verify your details. If you click on the link you will be taken to a spoof site that will capture your details for the phishers.
2. The URL looks nothing like the genuine EPPICard URL.
3. The spoof website is not available all of the time. This may be due to the website being taken down by the host or is on the phishers personal computer and may be only available at certain times.
4. Always remember genuine banks and companies never ask you to confirm who you are!!!
